Our Story

Hello and welcome to "Life Part 2". We are Lynn and Glenn Schultz. If your reading this you are most likely a friend or family. So you pretty much know who we are and what were doing. However there may be some of you who we've met during our travels or want to book us for one of our shows,  and don't know us all that well. So this is for you. Friends and Family can go to the other parts of our page to read about our latest exploits. . 

We were married in June of 2001. We bought a great house that was a true home and haven for us and our friends. Around 2008 we started dreaming about getting rid of everything, buying an RV, and travel around the country. We both love history, hiking, biking, and exploring new things. So wouldn't that be the perfect life style. But back in 2008 it was just a dream. A "yeah right, like that will really happen" kind of day dream. Like "what would we do if we won the lottery". Then in 2011 we started looking at it more seriously. Reading books on full timing, visiting blogs, researching the costs involved, and going to RV shows in Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Chicago. And we discovered that "we can do this". 

So then we started planning out what we needed to do. I won't bore you with all the details. If your really interested send me an email and I'll fill you in. But the big items were retire, sell the house and all belongings, and buy an RV and a pickup truck. Sounds easy right. Well to tell you the truth it actually was. Oh sure there were times we wanted to say forget it. but all in all everything fell into place. Like it was meant to be. Which actually starting freaking us out a little. 

We sold our house in one day. Yes, you read that right, One day! And for more then we were asking. Then in panic mode we had to find a 5th wheel trailer and a pickup truck. We found the trailer of our dreams and a truck that, well you just have to see it to believe it. There's a photo of it on our site. Sold just about everything except for family heirlooms that went to our kids and we have friends holding on to things for us for when we decide to settle down. 

So now our new life starts. Our second life of traveling to all the places we want to see. We will be posting our adventures on our blog. See you down the road.
