And on we go

I'm realizing now that going into all of that detail is too much. Too much for me and probably for you as well. So I think from now on it will be strictly highlights and lowlights. So of you may want to learn from our mistakes and I am sure that we will make them.

Speaking of which here comes one. So we leave Indiana on the 11th with our sites set on a camping world store outside of Indianapolis IN. to stock up on a few things. Not all camping worlds are created equal. This was a small store and we didn't really get what we wanted. So then it was on to Louisville KY. or there about to spend the night in a WalMart parking lot. (don't Judge)

Lesson number ? . I've lost track already. Hey, I'm not Jethro Gibbs. Give me a break.  Do not attempt to spend the night in a WalMart Parking lot in or around a major city. Way to busy and noisy. Couldn't find a place to park and .....Well I'll leave it at that.

So we pressed on looking for a WalMart down the road. In route we stopped at a rest area and decided to spend the night there. I slept like a rock. The semi next to us with its engine running all night seemed to keep Lynn up so she said. And I have no reason to doubt her. Of course we had cotton stuffed in our ears and I am loosing my hearing. So that seems to be a benefit once again.

The next morning we headed down the road thinking of going to Tennessee and visit some civil war battle fields.  In a text conversation with our friend Shari, she reminded us that those are Federal parks. Government shutdown. Duh. And so we changed course yet again and found a wonderful RV park called "Outback RV Resort" in Eddyville KY. Not far from Land between the Lakes. We will be here for 5 days and then, well we haven't talked about that yet. So That's all for now. See you down the road.
